Cinco de Mayo '06 FIESTA!!!!!! ::

Who knew Belmont was “Off The Hook” for Cinco de Mayo? Yet a mere block away, in Carlmont Plaza, was a small gathering in this cultural mecca known as Belmont, CA, proper. Missed this tourist resort on your last trip? Check it out! Complete with a Police Squad IN THE BAR ( because it ALWAYS is outta’ control on drinking holidays - St. Patty’s day as well they say ) So, closed and dead to the world, over 50 people in line OUTSIDE, and 200+ inside, Jose Cuervo Tequila, and Giant Margaritas a plenty flowed like rivers.... So did Sonosphere Staff, who stumbled back, with one eye closed....

As surprising as the Belmont Fiesta was, I think San Jose has us beat. They shut down an entire highway, parked cars bounced on hydraulics, as people got out to dance in the street, of the highway. Viva La Mexico!!!
